Our family enjoyed a delightful overnight stay in a superior double room with a garden view. The restaurant's gluten-free menu catered perfectly to our needs. The cheese trolley was an unexpected treat. Pro tip, securing dinner reservations is essential, given the popularity of the restaurant.

The views from our double lake view room were stunning, and the breakfast spread was absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed spending time at the hot tub and sauna for some much-needed relaxation. The only downside was the limited parking, so I’d suggest arriving early if you can. 😊

While the dinner was delicious, the limited menu and missed opportunities for celebrating special occasions left us wanting more. The charm of the location remains, but the service needs considerable improvement.

Additionally, a lack of privacy from passing guests was bothersome since the windows lacked privacy curtains, making it hard to enjoy the lake view without feeling exposed. It was also frustrating to deal with the absence of shower glass, which turned every shower into a messy experience. The hotel has no elevator, which could pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. On top of that, I encountered some cleanliness issues, like spiders and hair in the bathroom upon check-in—definitely not what I'd expect at this price point.
